Firstly, many congratulations on your engagement and forthcoming wedding!
It is one of the happiest day of your lives and you will want to make sure you can look back and relive all the little details and moments... the emotion at the ceremony and the speeches, the unique scene of all your closest family and friends gathered together, the funny exchanges and laughter going on, the food, the flowers, every part of your planning. There are some images that you would never otherwise see, like the guests arriving ahead of the wedding party and the bride or groom waiting nervously outside the church.
My ethos is that wedding photography should not just be a roll-call of all the guests (although it can serve that purpose). I work hard to ensure that your wedding photos also capture the fun, the feel, and the emotion of the day, as well as being beautiful images to treasure in themselves.
Probably the most important part of a wedding shoot is the pre-wedding briefing. I'll spend time with you to understand exactly what you want, both in terms of content and style, plus covering those all important details such as who are the key guests and what are the must-have images. I'll have lots of ideas to share and discuss with you.
We will chat about doing group shots or incorporating them informally, and all the details that will enable you to concentrate on enjoying yourself on your wedding day and leave the work to me. Many brides and grooms don't particularly like having their photos taken ordinarily but once we have met you will feel completely reassured that your wedding photography will not be in any way stressful. I have been running my own photography business for over 12 years and am very used to people who are camera shy.
I offer wedding photography in Ealing, Chiswick, Richmond, Kew, all around London and surrounding areas. For London weddings I will always visit the venue in advance, ideally a month or so before your big day and coiciding with you both so that I can offer a free pre wedding mini photoshoot. This is a great way of you having a few relaxing moments together in the lead up to your wedding, as well as getting to know my style a bit more. For weddings outside of London there is a surcharge depending on the travel and if it requires an overnight stay.
At your wedding I'll work discreetly, rarely with camera flash, in order to capture candid images of your wedding and all the details that we've talked about which go by in such a flash on the day.
After your wedding day I will finalise all your images and deliver them to you within 6 weeks latest.
My wedding photography costs from £1500 for the day for London-based weddings, or from £300/hr with a minimum booking of 2 hours. This includes my time for you on the day, leading up to and after the day, and all the high resolution images finalised and ready for you to use, with unlimited print release.
Once we have had a chat about what you need I will give you a full quote. I'm always happy to incorporate Getting Ready photos and can include these in your quote on request.
